The resort provided spacious rooms and friendly staff, but some aspects could improve. the food was repetitive, and the sewage smell at night detracted from the experience. Still, the pools were lovely and overall, it was a great place for relaxation.

I spent six nights at Zanzibar Bay Resort in Uroa and truly enjoyed it. The staff greeted me warmly upon arrival, setting a friendly tone. The private transfer from the ferry terminal took just 45 minutes, very smooth. The buffet meals offered a great mix of international and Tanzanian cuisine. Each day’s offerings kept things interesting, especially the Maasai dance performances that showcased local culture. The resort's beachfront location was so relaxing, making it easy to unwind. I appreciated the all-inclusive drinks, especially the cocktails, which were plentiful. Daily housekeeping was attentive, with staff ensuring my comfort. Unfortunately, the lack of power at times and the generator not kicking in created some inconvenience. The gym and spa facilities were a nice touch. Overall, the combination of great service, fun activities, and beautiful surroundings made my stay memorable. I would happily return!
