Zanzibar Bay Resort & Spa - Uroa

Food options were bland and lacked variety.

The sensational cuisine made each meal a culinary journey, and the friendly staff always made me feel like part of their family. The tranquility of the resort provided a perfect escape from reality.

Good and tasty food.

the service was lacking at times, but the food was consistently fresh and varied. and the pools had crystal clear water! the staff was super friendly, and the complimentary sunset cruise was a nice surprise.

Perfect place for discovering Uroa with excellent and affable staff who sell the service. Great, peaceful location by the main eating restaurant. Salad bar with cool drinks.

The resort provided spacious rooms and friendly staff, but some aspects could improve. The food was repetitive, and the sewage smell at night detracted from the experience. Still, the pools were lovely and overall, it was a great place for relaxation.

Beautiful location very close to Nungwi, taxis, and the Reef and beach resort, it's remote.

This hotel was nice place for exploring Uroa, loved it and venue's welcoming staff who sell the service. The location was particularly good as for me, close to the capital and the a la carte restaurant and the airport. The pool was nice and I had cold drinks in the salad bar.

Tbh, rooms were a bit hot.

The nearby beach access allowed for early morning sunrises that were lovely. I also loved the various restaurants just a short walk away for easy dining options, made my city explorations even better.

The resort provided excellent amenities, particularly with their diverse culinary options and the spa services, which I found to be heavenly. The free shuttle to a nearby beach enhanced the experience of the stay. The fine garden view from my room was an absolute highlight.

I spent six nights at Zanzibar Bay Resort in Uroa and enjoyed it. The staff greeted me warmly upon arrival, setting a friendly tone. The private transfer from the ferry terminal took just 45 minutes, very smooth. The buffet meals offered a great mix of international and Tanzanian cuisine. Each day's offerings kept things interesting, especially the Maasai dance performances that showcased local culture. The resort's beachfront location was so relaxing. I appreciated the all-inclusive drinks, especially the cocktails, plentiful. Daily housekeeping was attentive, with staff ensuring my comfort. Unfortunately, the lack of power at times and the generator not kicking in created some inconvenience. The gym and spa facilities were a nice touch. The combination of great service, fun activities, and beautiful surroundings. I would happily return!
